Once upon a time …

EARLY YEARS

After West Point, military service, and earning a degree from Columbia University, Jordan professionally priced everything from oil and gas to insurance, groceries to mail, and computer chips to water balloons. He has always thrived at the cross-section of technical expertise and strategic decision making, with a track record of solving complex challenges and seizing new opportunities.

 
 

2018

THE START OF A JOURNEY

Jordan Locke becomes the first Revenue Manager and Business Intelligence Lead at The Guild, one of the few venture capital backed short-term rental companies at the time. During this time, The Guild tripled its headcount, doubled its markets, and grew their units by 500%. Jordan also grew same unit revenue by 26% year over year and improved underperforming properties and markets by as much as 40% month over month.

2019

JORDAN STRIKES OUT ON HIS OWN

Jordan realized that many more people in the short-term rental industry could benefit from top-notch revenue management. He set out to forge a path for revenue management consulting in the vacation rental industry. His first ever client, Glovely, was featured on Matt Landaou’s podcast.

2019

RevPARTY IS ESTABLISHED

Jordan founds RevPARTY. The firm’s name, a nod to the acronym for Revenue Per Available Room as well as what everyone wants to do when they make more money, shows his commitment to metrics that matter and his willingness to innovate new methods.

2019-2021

PATHFINDING EARLY OPPORTUNITY

RevPARTY quickly established itself as the standard in vacation rental revenue management. Doing the right thing and not the easy thing, accolades soon followed:

PIONEERING FOR VRBO

Jordan becomes the founding member of Vrbo’s Revenue Performance Team, a team dedicated to vacation rental revenue management. Product enhancement, team enablement, and partner engagement, combined with his knowledge and experience, resulted in MarketMaker’s year end active user target being met in the first quarter, a dynamic pricing pilot resulting in increased revenue of 28% for participants, a 98% training satisfaction rating, and the most watched session of the Vrbo Virtual Partner Summit.

2023

RELAUNCH OF RevPARTY

Jordan, once again wanted to push the envelope of revenue management and help more companies explore revenue maximization. This time, Jordan aimed to create the gold standard in revenue optimization. By doing the right thing not the easy thing, RevPARTY could create win-win situations by greatly simplifying revenue management so others could save more time and make more money.
